Arrival of new fabric

Well girls lets just see who reads the blog. Today Karen delivered new bolts of fabric. So much fabric that the last wall in the fabric room will be covered with shelves over the weekend. So you might guess we have a lot of fabric. As Martha and I was sorting out on the tables it was so hard to pick a favorite. But one thing for sure I will get the christmas stocking panels done really fast they are beautifullllll. Another fabric that Karen got was several bolts of stripes. You know what great bias bindings that makes.
Matt also got the new cutting table together today. Remember thats the one Karen told you about that is hydralic and can adjust to any height. I have gotten so many new items in it is hard to find places to hang or display. Stop by and see. Everything from new designs to notions and now fabriccccccc.

Urgent News

Hello girls, Just received some very exciting news today and we had to act fast and arrange for this to take place. If you remember Karen talking about Julie Hall the designer she meet at Houston Quilt show and what awsum designs she had and that we were going to order some in and have in the store. Well we have done better than that she is coming thru Knoxville on Monday Oct 26, and will be stopping in at the store to do a trunk show. We already had a embroidery project of the month class scheduled and Julie will start just as soon as we get finished around the 12:30 hour. If you are taking the class you will be sewing one of her designs out. If you want to take a peek at her designs go to her site at juliehalldesigns.com and get started making your list. And she also said she had plenty and there was no way of running out. I know I have my eyes on one of the candlewicking designs. Hope to see you all there this coming Monday. No need to call and register . See ya

Oh the weather outside is getting chilly. And guess what only 69 days until Christmas. Now how many projects do you have to do per week to get all on my list done?
And don't forget there are some "scarry" deals in the store right now. Does a $500.00 rebate sound good. Stop in the store and I will show you how you can get that check in the mail.
Hello, everyone, I've been invited to become a blogger at Just Sew-Sew! I'll be at the store tomorrow - Saturday the 17th - for the second mystery quilt workshop. I'd love to see you there! A few spots are still available, and if you don't have the fabric already you can find some great possibilities in the store's fabric room.

The "Mystery Stripper" has been revealed. The girls in the class can't believe what they are about to have come to life before there eyes. Much less that they have completed. Today we have had 4 girls that has never quilted before and 1 of those is almost completely finished. Want to see this beautiful art work? Come Saturday and take the class or you will have to wait until after that to see the "Mystery".

Bye houston.... We have lots of new toys and playthings...
It is almost time. Just about 2 more hours and the "Mystery Stripper" class will start. Got your interest? Well there are still a few more spots left for the same class on Saturday, Oct 17th starting at 9:00 AM. Call the store if you want in. Sorry but I can't post a picture until after Saturday's class. Why? Because then the mystery would be out and the Saturday class would know what the quilt looks like. And as always Rebecca will have a great class.

Have you seen the freestanding flower pictured here on the blog. They are from Dalco and we will be having hands on classes on Friday Nov. 13. Classes are filling up fast. Be sure and call the store to get in on this wonderful class. Mark the date for Saturday, November 14 @ 11:00 am it is going to be one exciting time at embroidery club. I have seen the designs and I already have my list of what I want.
The rain didn't keep everyone away. Today Cathie was in the store teaching the "Potato Chip" quilt method. They done a table runner and everyone that attended went home with beautiful table runners. Several were in Christmas prints and Teresa selected on of the new retro fabrics that just arrived. Teresa is new to embroidery and after she finished sewing I helped her do the machine quilting with a couple of the designs that were built in her "Quattro" that way she got 2 lessons in one. How to mark and hoop plus how to do beginners quilting. Watch for pictures soon. The great ideal about this class was it gave everyone a wonderful place to showcase a beautiful embroidery design in with there quilting project. All that is left to say is well done to all in the class. You done a really nice job. Keep up the work. Don't forget to bring for show and tell next time.
Karen... can't wait to hear about all the goodies you have in store for us!!
Girls, just a heads up Karen has been calling all day with new product information. Get ready to sew sew sew.
